Title:                  Software Development Director
Location:          9039 Springboro Pike, Ste A, Miamisburg, OH 45342
Duties:
Plan, maintain, support, and develop specialized applications software ensuring the development and implementation of efficient applications and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization and its clients.  Establish and implement the strategic direction of the organization.  Recruit, interview, hire, train, evaluate, and terminate junior and senior staff.   Manage developers to ensure proper coding process, standards, and methodology.  Establish and monitor company budget with the help of the CEO and the other directors.  Prepare long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, and acquisition of the resources needed to support them. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in front-end, mobile, and server-side technologies.  Modify existing software to correct errors or improve performance.  Monitor and assist with software testing and validation procedures and programming. Collaborate with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems to support required applications. Advise clients on software maintenance. This position requires approximately 40% travel to client sites throughout U.S.  Working from home authorized for position within commutable distance to Dayton, OH
 
Requirements:
Education:        Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related field such as Information Technology or Management Information Systems.  Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable.  
Experience:       In addition to degree, experience gained at any time that must have included at least four (4) years in all of the following:
•    Software development with SDLC methodologies and Agile software development methodologies and practices; 
•    Software development using JavaScript, Angular material, C#.net, VB.net, SQL databases, ASP.Net, Web API, BPMN V2, R, UML, SSRS, and SSIS; 
•    Planning and implementing server maintenance, plan communication, and security aspect in relation to HIPAA; 
•    Software development for large-scale consumer-facing web sites; and 
•    Experience with service-oriented architectures and microservices, data science, and machine learning.
